October, 2009 (Longest Post Ever)

Hey there!! So sorry for the late update. Been busy due to loadz of homework assigned out by Mr. Tan =_=

Anyway, yes. 23rd Oct was my birthday. I am officially 14 years old=) The first celebration occurred at school. It all started when Mr. Tan was teaching us matrices in Maths class. Then suddenly, the lights went off and Graham was standing by the controls. At first, i thought he was playing a prank on the class cuz he's the jester of the school. But I immediately knew my assumption was wrong when everyone looked at the door and then turned their faces with a smile to the corner where i was sitting. Then, they started singing the world's most popular song and there was Crystal walking towards me with a gorgeous, delicious- looking cake. At that moment, i felt really happy and grateful towards all my good friends and my irreplaceable sister who have gone through hoops to make me feel so special on that day. Before i blew the candles, Khiing (who has always been like a brother to me) interrupted saying, "One more time!" Unexpectedly, another cake came through the door and the class sang once again!! The second cake looked like a miniature version of the first one! Finally, i blew off the candles and cut both cakes;) After that, Hern Ah Cai reached into his bag revealing a present from the whole class. Guess what? It was a original Tropicana Life wallet! Just what i needed! Speaking of Hern Ah Cai, today is his birthday!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY HERN AH CAI!!;) All was going well till Mr. Tan gave us a bomb of maths homework. Sigh =_=

When i got back from school, i went up to my grandmother's house for dinner. She had cooked my favourite dishes. YUM!! After dinner, we had desert. Guess what? Cake again. Although i got sick of cake, (cuz there were many birthdays this month-10 to be exact) i appreciated the fact that my family gathered to celebrate my 14th birthday.

The next day, i went to church for DBS (Bible study). Unfortunately, Sarah couldn't come due to falling sick. Later on, i met up with Siu Fai and he gave me a Hillsongs United CD (Across the Earth) as a birthday present. Wow! Another gift!^^ Hooray!! Haha. Oh, and that Saturday happened to be Frank's birthday. And then the next day (Sunday) was Pastor Foo's birthday. SO MANY BIRTHDAYS IN THE MONTH OF OCTOBER!!

By the way, my dad bought me an awesome camera for me birthday!! A Canon Powershot G11!!! It has 10 mega pixels and is almost as good as a SLR. Its small and has many awesome effects. Thanks dad!=)

Anyway, i would like to thank my family and friends for everything they have done for me. I really appreciate you all. Thanks!!;)

The irreplaceable sister:)

Well, I'm not sure what Crystal here is trying to do
but it seems she is "fanning" the cake. =/

Mr.Tan's 55th birthday...

If you were wondering, Mr. Tan is my school teacher. He is an awesome and funny teacher who threw himself a party inviting all his students, relatives and friends to celebrate his 55th birthday at Lynn's cafe. All of us had good food at the price of zero cents and had a fun time hanging out (well mostly at the end). While Mr. Tan was busy taking care of his guests, we youngsters got our grub, sat down and started talking crap. And soon enough, cameras went flashing as some of us wanted to remember that day and others, well...let's just say they were bored ;) enjoy the photos!

What happened on Friday...

Friday was a happy and, at the same time, a sad moment. You'd probably want to know the good news first therefore i shall start with it. The good news is that Crystal Chin got older!! Yay! Serkarang boleh panggilan dia aunty Crystal! Hahaha...yea i know my malay is terrible. Anyway, we celebrated with a tasteless cake and the giving of awesome gifts like humongous shades and a tablecloth fedora. Oh, and we (the october people) got delicious, minty cupcakes made by Jenna.

Now moving on to the not-so-good news. It all started when i received a sms from Khiing. It said that Tania and Natallie were leaving the school. So fast!!! They joined in like a month ago and now they are already gone. Time sure flies like a bullet from a gun. Sigh...thus, the school gathered at KFC to say our last words to the two sisters. I have to say, they were really nice people and it was a pity i did not take the time to know them better.

To Natallie and Tania: Continue to have faith in God and all the best to you guys! ^^
